Over the course of my academic career, I have had the opportunity to work as a tutor for students of diverse backgrounds and a variety of ages. My experiences as a tutor have been positive and I believe that I am able to make sessions fun for my students. I have found that when sessions are entertaining a remarkable amount of work can be accomplished. I enjoy assisting students in completing their homework and preparing for their exams. I am a patient and optimistic tutor who believes in the unlimited potential that each of my students possess. I listen to my students and build relationships with them to create a comfortable learning environment where they are free to learn and share. I work hard with my students and invest myself in helping them to achieve their academic goals. I am capable of tutoring a variety of courses in English as a Second Language (ESL), Mandarin Chinese, and Mathematics. I have a special passion for tutoring ESL and Chinese. I received a Bachelor of Science at the University of California in Mathematics, with a minor in Economics. During my free time, I find enjoyment in exercising. Specifically, I enjoy football, rock climbing, running, and yoga.
